Producing a Voice Over Demo for Raider Productions
Raider Productions requests that you pay attention to the following guidelines
bellow when submitting voice over demo CD's if you wish to be considered to
be auditioned for upcoming productions and projects that are being cast.
(1) Animation voice over demo 
Example
Number of samples: 12 to 18 samples per demo.
Number of second per sample: 5 to 10 seconds per sample.
Length of demo: 1minute and 20 seconds to 3 minutes per demo.
Important details regarding content: Examples that show as wide a range of
voices and situations that your characters can be in. Do not use accents,
recognised characters, or celebrities unless you imitate them very well or
they sound natural.
(2) Commercial voice over demo Example
Number of samples:6 to 12 samples per demo.
Number of second per sample:10 to 15 seconds per sample.
Length of demo:1 minute to 3 minutes per demo.
Important details regarding content: Each sample should be one of three
sections of a typical 30 second commercial. They should be (1) the first
15 second, (2) the middle 10 second, or (3) the last 15 seconds of the
commercial These samples should reflect your ability to show a number
of different reads you can do while using as many varieties of straight
reads as you can produce.
(3) Foreign language voice demo Example
Number of samples: 1 to 4 samples per demo.
Number of second per sample: 30 seconds per sample.
Length of demo: 30 seconds to 2 minutes per demo.
(4) Narration voice over demo Example
Number of samples: 4 to 8 samples per demo.
Number of second per sample: 30 seconds per sample.
Length of demo: 2 to 4 minutes per demo.
Important details regarding content: You should provide 1 or 2 examples
of the following 4 different types of samples that you will use to round
out your narration demo.
(1) You should provide an audio book
(2) a medical procedure
(3) a documentary and
(4) a corporate video narration example.
Last and most important send a professional CD, and CD cover with all your
contact information (Name, Agency if you have one, Telephone number,
best e-mail etc... ) to the following address bellow.

Please pay attention to the following information bellow when sending
your voice over CD to Raider Production in one or more of the above categories.
1. Design your CD cover to reflect your personality and the image you
wish to portray about yourself.
2. Please make certain that your CD has your contact information
(your name, your agency, agents name, yours / your agents address,
telephone number, and e-mail ) clearly printed on the back cover of the
CD and the CD itself.
3. Please make certain that demo's are recorded on separate tracks.
Usually the best approach to takeis to lay out the voice over categories
in alphabetical order: both when you burn the CD tracks and when you lay
down the tracks on the on the label and the back cover of the CD.
4. It is often wise to send your acting resume and black and white 8 x 11
photograph with your CD to familiarise the casting director with your appearance
and your other acting experiences.
5. It is always worth sending a personal CD over and above that of your agency
CD if you belong to an agency or if you wish to be more friendly to the environment
then please send an e-mail to the address listed bellow with your demo via MP3
(all files must be under 1 megabyte ). This by no means is a replacement to the
original CD package, which you should send first.
6. You may mail the CD package or drop off the demo package in person to the
casting director as long as you call them and alert them to your coming ahead of time.
